The Family Resource Center is a collaborative effort led by Carver County, in partnership with numerous community organizations. Together, we work to make it easier for families and individuals to access the services, classes, and resources that help them build strong, healthy lives.
This page highlights the departments and organizations currently providing on-site services and support. As the center grows, additional partners—such as ECFE, MN Extension, and Carver County Libraries—will offer periodic programs like budgeting classes, parenting workshops, and storytimes.

Carver County plays a central role in bringing essential services to the Family Resource Center. Through its Health & Human Services programs, the County provides direct assistance to individuals and families seeking support with basic needs, housing, healthcare, parenting, and workforce development. A Better Society
A Better Society facilitates the Family Resource Center’s operations and partnerships, helping to create a welcoming, community-centered space. Community Resource Center (CRC)
CRC serves diverse communities in the South Metro region, providing support with employment, education, housing, healthcare, and language assistance to help individuals and families thrive. Visit Community Resource Center
Mi C.A.S.A.
Mi C.A.S.A. offers bilingual (English/Español) navigation and support to help families access essential resources. They also provide family engagement and youth activities that build trust, reduce stigma, and strengthen community connections. Visit Mi C.A.S.A.
