Family Advisory Committee (FAC)

The Family Advisory Committee (FAC) helps shape services at the Carver County Family Resource Center (FRC). Together, we make sure the center reflects the voices and needs of our community. Our goal is to build strong connections, welcome everyone, and support the well-being of families in Carver County.

The word welcome in multiple languages

The FAC is a group of parents, caregivers, and community members who guide the programs and services at the FRC.

What Members Do

  • Come to quarterly meetings and sometimes smaller group meetings.
  • Share ideas, give feedback, and help plan family events.
  • Take part in leadership, teamwork, and advocacy talks.
  • Help spread the word about FRC programs and services.

Benefits for Members

  • Receive a $50 stipend per meeting for your commitment to the FRC
